General Election - 12 December 2019 - Remember to Register to Vote

It is more important than ever to ensure that you have your voice heard in the forthcoming General Election.

If you aren't already registered to vote, or have moved house recently you need to get yourself registered as soon as possible. The deadline for registering to vote is the 26th November at 11.59 p.m. - https://www.gov.uk/get-on-electoral-register

If you aren't able to vote in person, or if you are going to be involved in the election process as a council employee, then you can register to receive a postal vote -
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apply-for-a-postal-vote.  The deadline to receive a postal vote is also the 26 November at 5.00 p.m.
